By Following an Account or Contact in the system you can be notified of all Activity posted to that record. This is useful for keeping track of business development activities and relationships between Proximity and external parties.
How to Follow an Account or Contact
- Browse to the Account or Contact you wish to follow
- Click on the 'Follow' button in the top bar
Daily or Weekly Digest Email
After following Accounts or Contacts, you will begin receiving a daily or weekly digest email with a summary of all activity posted to those records. To change the frequency of this email:
- Click on your photo in the top-right corner
- Click on 'Settings'
- Click on 'Chatter' > 'Email Notifications' in the left-hand menu
- Under 'Set frequency for personal digest' pick Daily or Weekly
News Feed
After following Accounts or Contacts, you can view a summary of all activity posted on these records in the News Feed:
- Go to the 'Time & Expense Workspace'
- Under News Feed, click on the filter icon and select 'All updates' to ensure you see all activity
