How to create Work Calendars
Work Calendars define the contracted hours a Resource works for Proximity per week.
Set or change someone's work calendar
- Search for the person's Contact record using the search box in the top-middle
- Scroll down to the 'PSA Resource Details' section and edit the 'Work Calendar' field
Create a new Work Calendar
- Click on the 9 dots in the top-left corner and search for 'Work Calendars'
- Click on 'New' in the top-right corner and fill in the following fields:
- Name - Enter a description of the work calendar
- Monday - Friday Hours - Enter the working hours per day
- Week Start Day - seto to Monday
- Generally, leave the other fields such as Start Hour, End Hour and Standard Working Hours per Day as-is
- Click on 'Save' to save this calendar
- Please note that each new Work Calendar needs to have public holidays associated with it. Please email Technology Support to copy the relevant holidays across to the new Work Calendar, to save you creating each one manually.
