How to use the Apex Business mobile app
First time login to Salesforce app
As a one-time only step, you'll need to sign-in to the Salesforce app and select Proximity from the app launcher.
Sign-in to Apex Business
- After downloading the Salesforce app from the App store, you will arrive at the login page. Rather than entering in your details, click use custom domain in the right-hand corner.
- Fill in the custom domain box with proximityadvisoryservices (as one word) and select continue.
- You will now have the option on your home screen to select Proximity Account. Click this button and enter in your Proximity username and password.
- Say yes to allow access to the Saleforce app to login.

Select 'Proximity' app from App Launcher
After logging in, you should see the "Time and Expense Workspace". If you do not see this:
- Click on Menu in the bottom-right corner.
- Select 'App Launcher'.
- Select 'Proximity' in the list.

How to enter time on the mobile app
- Open the Salesforce app and ensure it says 'Time and Expense Workspace' in the top-left corner. If not, select it from the icons in the bottom-left corner.
- Scroll down in the Time and Expense Workspace until you see 'Time Entry'
- Use the arrows at the top of the screen to select the week you wish to enter time for.
- Once you're viewing the correct week, select 'New'
- Select the project you'd like to assign time against, and optionally the assignment and milestone.
- Under the 'Summary' tab, enter the hours for this timecard.
- Click on the 'Notes' tab and enter the notes for this timecard.
- Click on 'Submit' to submit this timecard to your Job Manager or CW Manager

How to quickly copy timecards between weeks
If you are on a job, such as a secondment, with a standard working day schedule you can quickly copy a previous weeks' time to the current week.
- Open the Salesforce app and ensure it says 'Time and Expense Workspace' in the top-left corner. If not, select it from the icons in the bottom-left corner.
- Scroll down in the Time and Expense Workspace until you see 'Time Entry'
- Use the arrows at the top of the screen to select the week you wish to copy time from.
- Once you're viewing the correct week, select the drop-down arrow next to 'Submit All' and select 'Copy All'.
- Use the arrows at the top of the screen to select the week you wish to copy time to, and check which items you would like to copy across such as Hours and Notes
- Select 'Copy' to copy your timecard.
- Your newly created timecard is not yet submitted, so be sure to hit 'Submit All' when done.

How to enter expenses on the mobile app
- Open the Salesforce app and ensure it says 'Time and Expense Workspace' in the top-left corner. If not, select it from the icons in the bottom-left corner.
- Scroll down in the Time and Expense Workspace until you see 'Expense Entry'
- Click on 'New'
- Start by attaching an attachment of your receipt from your photo library or take a live photo.
- Once you have attached the receipt, select the project you wish to claim the expense against, select the date, type of expense, amount on the receipt, whether you wish for this to be billed to the client and whether it was incurred on a Proximity credit card.
- When you have filled out the form, select 'Submit' in the top right hand corner.

How to find information on the mobile app
- The easiest way to search records on the mobile app is to click on the magnifying glass and type a key word.
- Click on the record you were searching for. Depending on the information you are after, you can click related quick links, details, actuals, and documents.
